Model Making Graphics: Showcase.

(James Taylor)

So, I was loitering around the interweb and happened to come across this website. It's a great website if you're looking to find some useful artists, graphic designers and illustrators. Aaaaanyway, I was looking at the 3D/ Model making artist's work for the next part of my project. Pretty cool if I may say so.

Most of the work in in the same sort of style/ format but yeah I'll start with:

James Talyor

So yeah, Taylors work is made out of paper/card cutouts that have been layered with depth to make a 3D piece. His work heavily realies on composition and layout of each piece to give the best effects such as depth or just making it look awesome.

Be sure to check out the rest of his work on his debutart page.

Vault49

I actually found Vault49 befor James Taylor but nevermind. As I've said, their works are very similiar in terms of 3D effects. their work also heavil relies on composition and layout of each piece. However, Vault49 also uses 3D nets and shapes in their work rather than just plain flat cutouts. Which, of cause makes it more dynamic and make depth easier to percieve. And more awesome.

Some of their non 3D stuff.....

All of these images (including James Taylors) were taken from their debutart pages. Be sure to stop by.

    Until next time.
